Founded on the values of dignity, inclusion, and empowerment, Nuru Yetu works to ensure that no individual is left behind due to disability, poverty, or social exclusion.

What We Do

Beyond direct support, Nuru Yetu focuses on raising awareness and breaking the stigma surrounding disabilities in communities. Our Projects

Discover our collection of community-based livelihood and empowerment projects designed to create sustainable impact. Each initiative reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and results that improve lives and strengthen communities.

Modern Poultry Farming

Our modern poultry farming project promotes sustainable income generation through improved housing, feeding systems, disease control, and market-oriented production. The initiative strengthens food security and provides reliable income opportunities for families, including households supporting children and individuals with disabilities.

Irrigated Vegetable Farming

Our irrigated vegetable farming project focuses on year-round production of nutritious vegetables using efficient irrigation methods. By introducing water-saving technologies and climate-smart farming practices, we support small-scale farmers to improve yields, increase household income, and enhance food availability, even during dry seasons.

Fish Farming (Aquaculture)

Our fish farming initiative applies modern aquaculture practices to increase productivity while protecting the environment. Through improved ponds, quality feed, and technical training, the project creates employment opportunities, enhances nutrition, and builds long-term economic resilience within the community.

We Welcome You to Our Community

We are a community of caregivers, volunteers, parents, and local supporters who stand together for children and adults with disabilities.

Each person you see here plays a role — some provide daily care, others offer guidance, practical help, teaching, prayer, or simply presence. What connects us is not profession or status, but responsibility for one another.

We work side by side to support those who are often overlooked, creating a place of safety, dignity, and belonging. Our strength lies in unity, compassion, and shared commitment.

Together, we carry hope — and together, we continue to grow.
